Guidelines for Obtaining No-Dues Certificate

1. Clearance of Dues: All students, research scholars, staff members, project personnel, and other officials/personnel seeking a No-Dues Certificate must clear all outstanding dues and departmental liabilities before submitting the request.
2. Return of Departmental Items: All items issued to the applicant from any laboratory, office, section, or facility of the Department must be returned to the respective issuing laboratory/office in proper condition.
3. Items Covered:The items to be returned include, but are not limited to, laboratory equipment, workstations, computers/PCs, machines, hard disks/storage devices, books, calculators, keyboards, mice, furniture, tools, accessories, and any other departmental property issued to the applicant.
4. Return to Concerned Laboratory/Office: The applicant shall return each issued item to the laboratory/office/section from where it was issued and obtain confirmation/acknowledgement from the concerned authorised person.
5. Completion of No-Dues Performa: The applicant shall obtain the required clearance/signature from all concerned laboratories, offices, and sections of the Department, as applicable, by duly filling and completing the prescribed No-Dues Performa.
6. Responsibility of Applicant: It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all issued items have been returned and all dues/liabilities have been cleared. Any loss or damage to departmental property shall be settled as per applicable Institute/Department rules.
7. Submission to Department Office: The duly completed and signed No-Dues Performa shall be submitted to the Department Office for verification and further processing of the No-Dues Certificate.
8. Processing of Certificate: The No-Dues Certificate shall be processed only after satisfactory verification of all required clearances and confirmation that no departmental items, dues, or liabilities remain outstanding against the applicant.
